The cover is cotton velvet - specially sourced from a UK manafacturer - to give nothing but the best quality cushions. We use three colours; pink, green and royal blue. The wheat contained within the bags is again, specially sourced and is fully washed to remove dust particles from the WHEAT for safety. The WHEAT BAGS can be used either with heat or cold - depending on the present injury or condition. Full instructions are provided with the bags and some further information is provided on the site for specific conditions, such as arthritis, neck strain and trapped nerves. The wheat holds the heat well, allowing the cushions and pillow to effect the target area for long periods of time, without the need for re-heating. We aim to send off each wheatbag within 24 hours of purchase, arriving to you gift rapped, with full care instructions. Wheat can come in many different kinds, including buckwheat. The wheat we have chosen to use in our wheatbags has been chosen for safety and because it holds moisture well. Wheat can dry when repeatedly heated and so a small cup of water in the microwave when heating the wheatbags will keep wheat moisture content well. The BAGS help both long-term ailments such as arthritic pains, short-term injuries perhaps created by lifting a heavy object or participating in sport.
